shes lost control again

happy birthday benton!
got a really decent group together to kick it for bentons. molly, ryan, cole -- for samus. kellen, nico, josh, natalie, scottie, jamie, mike, richard. its weird how happy these people make me, individually & together.
friday did the cafe vitta family meetup/lunch at honeyhole. im into it.


rented control the other night. we were really sleepy so i didnt think i got through it, but it stuck with me the entire next day, & awhile after that. ian curtis was 23. so bizarre.



&, as uncomfortable as her character happened to make me, annik honore was absolutely lovely. as in, perfect.




another haunting tidbit. i devoured an article on marlene dietrich in the latest issue of vogue at oddfellows some breakfast a few days ago. ive been trying to reconcile a lifestyle for so long, & that woman just went out & did it. i mean, nevermind that she hooked up with jfk at 60. she worked out a life that is more sensible than traditional values usually allow for. im still navigating through all of this.
then i watched hes just not that into you, & i feel like everything reverted back down again. the women were desperate & the men were lousy. the modern age has nothing going for it sometimes. like, really?
